4 Brands Who Figured Out Online Marketing
Why are they killing it on social media?
(This isn’t in any typical order)
#1 Ghia
Ghia is a nonalcoholic drink.
Why they’re good?
Well, they’re not when it comes to Instagram or TikTok. Their content is just “Okay”.
But what I like about them is their brand aesthetic, vibe, and their value-based content.
On their website, they have a tab for recipes.
This a great way to provide value to your audience while also capturing their emails AND it keeps their product in the frame the entire time.
They did create one video here where they took what they do in their blog “recipes” and transferred it over to short form.
It outperformed all their most recent content.
I don’t know why they haven’t doubled down on this kind of content.
#2 Our Place
They sell pots, pans, and air fryers and they are expanding into more kitchen items.
Similar to “Ghia” they have great value-based content.
They give out recipe videos instead of focusing on “how great their pans are”
Why does this work?
It’s because they are focused on growing their community. Making recipe videos (value-based content) is a great way to attract people who are interested in cooking.
If you are interested in recipes you may be interested in a great pot.
It’s the art of selling without selling.
#3 Hodinkee
They built resellers watch website that sells watches from $500 - $20,000. Now their company is valued at $40 million.
How did they do this?
Leveraging their blog.
They grew to a 40 million dollar company by creating blogs for watch enthusiasts.
They created value-based content.
See the theme here?
The one problem with them is that they haven’t 100% taken this over to their short-form content.
It is interesting to see that any of the content they do that provides insights, tactics, or value in general - outperforms all their other content.

#4 Leveraged Media
Shameless plug here but we are indeed killing it using organic content and I wanted to provide some insights.
We grew our company to $70,000/mo in just 6 months all through leveraging organic content.
Bullet points of what we did (Content wise) to make this possible:
Audience build through organic content
Focused on value-based content
Hit these archetypes in each video: Mindset, Tatic, insight, story
Built a community
Followed the 80/20 rule: 80% of content should provide value and 20% should be about the product or service
Speak to a more intelligent audience or “higher aware” audience (Helps sell high ticketed services)
Developed content schedule and writing systems
Focused on quality over quantity
These are just a few bullet points but it can go MUCH deeper than this.
If you are curious about how we can help build your personal or business brand using short-form content…
we are offering EXCLUSIVE coaching calls to 3 individuals who sign up with the starter pack.
We typically don’t do this unless it’s for our Growth and Pro accounts but we are curious to see how fast we can get results for our starters.
Check out our website for more info on what we do.
